Fourteen rows of a genuinely ugly sales export: four date formats, stray whitespace, shouting and lowercase names, currency symbols and thousands separators, blank required fields, a word where a number should be, a negative quantity, and two duplicates — one of which only matches after normalizing. Every defect is detected and counted first; you decide which fixes actually run.

An invoice, generated as you edit

Edit both parties, the number and the dates, then work the line items — description, quantity, rate, and a per-line tax exemption. Change the currency, switch the discount between a percentage and a flat amount, and the paper on the right recomputes the subtotal, discount, itemised tax and total to the cent on every keystroke.
